Dagenham based print solutions experts Precision Print have installed the new Zechini Roby Zero case maker and the tried and tested Zechini Roby Junior 2 semi-automatic case maker in a bid to upgrade and bolster their bindery division.
Both Zechini Roby Junior 2 and the Zechini Roby Zero join Precision Printings already impressive line-up of book binding equipment
The decision to invest in their bindery division came because they wanted to offer short run book production for the customers, and specifically the Zechini machines for ease of use and the highest quality case makers on the market.
Andy Scarpellis, Chief Executive Officer for Precision Printing says “due to Friedheim’s long standing reputation and the support that they can offer for the machines and with our past experience with them servicing our older equipment, it’s the obvious choice when buying new equipment.”
Earlier this year they moved from Barking to Dagenham and along with another site in Sunderland, the privately owned company houses an impressive array of finishing equipment including multi-finishers, high speed folders from MBO, multiple guillotines in a variety of sizes including two Baumann-Wohlenbergs, die-cutters, a B1 laminator, cutting and creasing machines from KAMA and many more.
With so much finishing under one companies banner, it is to no ones surprise that they have been fulfilling some of the UK’s most successful companies with their printing needs for over 50 years. This includes the likes of American Express, Atkins, Lambert smith Hampton, Nestle, Jaguar Land Rover UK Limited, Boden, Laura Ashley, Sainsbury’s, Bett Homes, Durham University, Emirates Durham International Cricket Club, Sunderland football club, Bandai Namco Group, NHS, Subway and Sega.
As a compact and versatile semi-automatic case maker, the Roby Junior 2 fills the gap for both short and medium runs. As seen at this years The Print Show the gluing unit is integrated into the machine in order to save floor space and has quick and intuitive controls. Thanks to its extremely simple and fast changeover the Roby Zero casemaker is the ideal solution for the production of book cases for very short runs. The changeover is quick and simple thanks to the simple joystick control. All the usual covering materials can be used: paper, laminated paper, photo paper, fabric, padded cardboard, artificial leather, etc.
Simon Cox, Sales specialist for Friedheim International says “I’ve always wanted to sell our kit to precision because they are a company only going one way, which is up – It’s important to build relationships with forward thinking companies who are interested in investing in their future as well as for the rest of the industry, as a co-exhibitor of The Print Show, they have shown this to be the case – it helps that they have tremendous growth and great sales revenue.”
