With over 30 years experience in supplying thermal laminating and embossing equipment, Komfi machines are renowned for their robust build quality and reliability.

Technically, Komfi thermal laminators are characterised by accurate and controlled sheet feeding into the laminating unit, dry heating of the laminating roll (no heating liquid) via zoned temperature control, and high nip pressure. The bottom pressure rolls are also protected against film sticking. Intuitive controls and easy maintenance ensure that the machines are simple to operate, and along with fast machine adjustment this provides additional production and economic benefits.

Optional accessories for Komfi thermal laminators

	Air shaft This optional accessory is supplied primarily for larger laminators and will make the handling of laminating film reels and the fixing of them on the unwinding shaft much easier.
	Perforator Additional film perforation provides particular user-friendly benefits to enhance the productivity and effectiveness of the machine operator.
	Film slitter The film slitter is an accessory used for slitting laminating film from the reel to the required width. A circular knife cuts the film and the film cut-off tail is kept on the reel. The slitter may be fixed to a separate holder, or alternatively on a holder shared with additional perforation.
	Embossing In addition to lamination itself, embossing various patterns on printed matter is a specific add-on for the finishing of printed items. For this purpose, additional solutions are on offer for selected types of Komfi thermal laminators.
	Anti-static bar This is really a useful device whose functions will certainly be appreciated when working with films. It removes the static charge from the material passing through the machine and thus eliminates the sticking of sheets to each other, or sticking of the film to parts of the machine.
	External stacking device A freely attachable stacking device prepares stacks for automatic laminators outside the space of these machines.
	Film reels loading crane This manually operated device will lift films weighing up to 80 kg and simultaneously ease the replacement roll into the machine.
	Pallets and film reels loading crane This device, analogue to the original film loading crane, is supplemented with the possibility of easy manipulation with smaller pallets.
	Combined loading crane A universal aid for working with thermal laminating machines, this device will save a lot of time you would normally have to spend for lengthy preparations before actual order processing. With its help, just a single operator can very easily operate the laminator.
	Slow down conveyor A movable additional device for thermal laminators, this equipment is designed for slowing sheets down after having been separated by the snapping mechanism. Using the conveyor improves the alignment accuracy of the stack of sheets being unloaded on the unloading table.
	Jogging table A laminating table accessory, this device contributes to improving an operator’s comfort by jogging the laminated sheets to its bottom corner and, thus, eases both the take-off of the sheets from the machine and also their alignment.
	Sheet stacker Two solutions of sheet stacker are on offer for our thermal laminating machines. The purpose of this device is to meet all the requirements of the operator with regard to the processed paper and the laminating machine itself.
