EasyFly – this is an in-line single knife trimmer especially designed for face trimming perfect bound and thread sewn soft cover book blocks with flaps. One of its key features is its easy and quick automatic format size change, which requires only approximately three minutes! It is achieved by simply keying in the book details (length, width and thickness) via the incorporated touch screen control. No damage or marking is ever made to the cover of the book because EasyFly does not use vacuum or suckers in its operation, but accomplishes opening by working on the trim-away area of the book.
Trim&Perf 600 series – with its heavy duty construction for especially demanding operations, this machine is designed for universal cutting, punching, die-cutting and perforating. Available in three models – Single head, Duplex and Triplex – its modular design allows it to operate either in-line with sheet folders, saddle stitchers and other converting equipment, or off-line with feeders. A wide range of accessories is also available for use with this machine series, thereby offering extremely versatility!
Corner Trim – an automatic in-line corner cutter especially designed for soft cover books, as well as book blocks for hard cover. It can handle single or piled books, and be directly linked to a three-knife trimmer.
Micropark & Macropark – these two units vertical book accumulators and flow regulating systems for highly automated binding lines, and normally work similar to conveyor belts. If the upstream or downstream operation is interrupted for any reason, the products are collected by vertical lift shelves and, when the obstacle is removed, re-deposited in the same position within the product flow. Re-starting is automatic, thus minimising downtime and regulating the workflow.
EasyTrim – operating as an in-line single knife trimming unit, the EasyTrim is ideal for face-trimming sewn book blocks for soft cover books with flaps. Blocks can be introduced either manually or via a book block feeder, and are then registered, pressed, face trimmed before being introduced into the infeed channel of the perfect binder or coverer. The unit can also serve as a 4th knife in association with three-knife trimmers.
Corner Master – this high speed industrial case corner rounder is designed for handling hard cover books and diary cases. It features four diagonally moving rounding tools which create neatly shaped round corners on the cases that are fed manually or in-line automatically from any case maker.
Macrocool – in operation, this cooling system for automatic book lines uses the same principle as that used with the Micropark and Macropark. Owing to its special design the Macrocool has a capacity, when handling a thickness below 35 mm, equal to that of three towers of 50 m in height, with no extra space required.
Besides the standard machines listed above, custom models can be supplied, and these include a book block drilling and trimming system, a series of board book manufacturing machines, and the Tri-Split automatic triple book splitter which, by means of its three incorporated tilting rotary saw blades, is capable of splitting a maximum of four single books from continuously fed multi-up book blocks. For added flexibility, linkage is possible with a three-knife trimmer with the addition of a subsequent pile-making unit.
