Vertical form, fill, seal
A vertical form, fill and seal machine is one that uses flexible heat-sealable, plastic film or other packaging material to form a tube, which is then filled vertically with product and sealed in a sequence of operations whilst being transported vertically downwards. Both fully automated and semi-automated machines are available from Iman Pack, providing companies such as component suppliers, confectionery companies, DIY stores, etc, with an ideal packaging solution. Iman Pack Microvert 2000 - suitable for packing different types of product, such as rice, pasta, confectionery, coffee, beans, dry fruits, wheat, food and snack products.
Other items can include chemical powders, general fastener and hardware products, screws, bolts, nails, plastic parts, pharmaceutical products, furniture kits, connector kits, ear plugs, etc. Depending on the model, up to 100 bags per minute can be produced.
Iman Pack MFW 2000 – capable of producing up to 15 bags per minute, this machine is suitable for packaging a wide variety of products using pre-folded polyethylene film. The machine can be inclined when packaging products that require especially gentle handling, thus providing great flexibility. It can also be integrated with various types of feeding devices such as Weigh Scales, Inclined Belts, Volumetric Fillers, etc.
Iman Pack Servovert - a high velocity, continuous operation vertical packaging machine that can produce up to 100 bags per minute, and which incorporates a film barrier to ensure a particularly strong airtight seal for heavier or bulky products.
Horizontal form, fill, seal
Utilising a similar process to vertical form, fill & seal machines, horizontal units are normally intended for higher production volumes. With an extremely wide range of both fully automated and semi-automated machines available, plus a choice of mechanical to fully servo-driven, these units are also capable of handling a wider range of products, thereby offering great operational flexibility and opportunities to those companies wishing to enhance their production process. Iman Pack Micropac 200 and 300 – these two machines are both flow pack units that feature a top reel holder suitable for heat sealable film. They are also available in a three-axis control version for added flexibility. The main difference between the two machines in is the size of the incorporated infeed conveyor: on the 200 version this measures 1500mm in length and 200mm in width, while on the 300 version the measurements are 2500mm long and 300mm wide, thereby enabling the latter unit to handle larger and bulkier products!
Iman Pack Micropac Super – is a particularly versatile horizontal form, fill and seal machine that is especially suitable for wrapping solid products with polyethylene film. With its mechanically adjustable speed, it is capable of producing up to 120 bags per minute.
