The company's headquarters are in Otelfingen in Switzerland, with a growing US operation, based in Windsor, Connecticut.

Punched label equipment, the modular concept

The modular Atlas concept from Blumer uses the new Atlas D-18.M as its centrepiece. This can be extended to the fully automatic Atlas 110 production line with or without packaging. From this position you can add strip inserters, manual inserters and so on.

Further add feeding tables, separating and banding equipment and you have a fully configurable labelling line to suit your needs. Blumer also offers counterpressure processes in which the punching tool and counterpressure plate are integrated into one tool holder, allowing central adjustment.

Cut label equipment
Blumer offers the PB-110 Autoband system wired either directly in-line with an Autocut, or via transfer air table to a cutting machine, for the production of 25mm bandwidth labels. The PB-23 Bandmatic is a professional banding machine for optional band widths up to 50mm.

Label control offers the ability to print reports on cut quality and exact monitoring of the die condition. Overall, tolerances as low as +/- 0.02mm can be achieved.

Testing and accessories
As a result of a joint development between Blumer and Stamfag (a producer of punching tools) the label control system offers checking of the nominal and actual punching dimensions of punched labels, including undercut, job-oriented archiving of the nominal dimensions and printing of test reports for your customers. The system offers easy-to-operate functions with graphic presentations.

Blumer also offers the Favorit system for resharpening tools of standard steel. This is an essential instrument for any owner of punching machines or semi- or fully-automatic label production lines.
